On July 17, the salon of “Middleware Index for New Engines for Development in the Web 3.0 Era” was successfully completed in the Liuhong Hall on the fifth floor of Pan Pacific Hotel, Xiamen.

This event is supported by The Graph Foundation, hosted by ULink (a member of The Graph Chinese community), and co-hosted by Edge&Node, StreamingFast, BytesIO. The topic of The Graph and middleware track is to talk about the present and look forward to the future.

Many outstanding project representatives and investment institutions were invited to this event. They used PPT presentations, round-table discussions, on-site questions and other methods to better understand and familiarize the audience with The Graph, aiming to help The Graph to open up the Chinese market well.

The event was opened under the auspices of ULink founder Iverson. He said that “middleware”, “index”, and “Web 3.0” are the core of The Graph, and they are also three important things that I think must be used in the development of blockchain. The core component.

At the beginning of the conference, The Graph Edge&Node Asian business strategy Iris Ni introduced The Graph’s current ecological connections are all-encompassing, support multiple public chains and projects. Indexing requirements have also increased with the continuous improvement of the blockchain infrastructure. The Graph also provides Multiple roles such as indexer, curator, and client allow everyone to participate in the ecological construction, making the development of The Graph more and more decentralized.

Next, BD Anthony Zhang of StreamingFast Asian Market also introduced to everyone that StreamingFast has been providing high-speed data indexing solutions for domestic and foreign projects. Now it has become the second technical team of The Graph. The ultimate goal is to use a low-cost and feasible way. Allow all blockchain data to be directly read, efficiently stored and queried.

The third place is Jonathan Zy, the founder of BytesIO. He shared that due to the surge in application usage, the demand for on-chain data indexing is also increasing, but the current speed and convenience of data indexing have become a major pain point and need to pass Simplify the query process so that ordinary users can quickly use the on-chain data, analyze the data, and visualize the data.

The fourth place is Yan Xin, ETHSign Project Lead. He shared that because of the emergence of blockchain, multinational and non-company management agreements will be widely adopted in the future. ETHSign will be used as a component of Web3.0 and an independent Tools that allow users to upload, sign, and verify digital agreements, and are easy to integrate with other agreements and dApps.

After the speech, Iverson, the founder of ULink, hosted the speech. Bibo Deng, the founder of IFTip, Anthony Zhang, BD Anthony Zhang, 7 O’Clock Capital Partner, Ray, and the founder of Accord Capital participated in the “DeFi and Middleware What kind of “danger” and “opportunity”? “” as the theme of the round table discussion.

Guests unanimously agreed that DeFi and middleware are complementary. The rise of DeFi has allowed people to see the composability of the blockchain industry and attracted more users to participate. Middleware serves as an index and on-chain data analysis. The tool is a good bridge between developers, users, and projects. It is also an integral part of Web 3.0. Currently, people are unaware of Web 3.0 because the ecology is gradually being built.

Bibo Deng said that in the current era, the Internet is dominated by UGC (User Generated Content), but there is still no opportunity for most people to participate. The algorithm determines that most people need to use marketing and promotion to let people see it, and now This relationship is changing.

Anthony said that middleware has an indelible role in DeFi. Whether it is DeFi, NFT or other types of applications, a large amount of data will be born. They are all native on the chain. If the data is not synchronized, it will affect the normal use of the application. This also makes indexing tools becoming more and more important.

Ray said that infrastructure is becoming more and more important. With more and more DeFi applications, the demand for infrastructure is gradually increasing. Users want to see more real-time and accurate data to judge their own fund allocation methods. , The project party also needs some tools to reach users, and middleware plays a key role.

Mr. Tang said that DeFi has brought new opportunities to the industry. As TVL continues to grow, the diversity of DeFi applications is also increasing. Last year we saw only AMM and DEX. This year, more gameplay has been derived. The future is very impressive.

After the round table was over, the guests answered the questions raised by the audience on the spot. With actual cases and experience, the audience ended the offline salon with a lot of dry goods, and collided with more sparks during the free communication time.

The main purpose of this offline salon of The Graph organized by community members is to enable more people to truly understand the actual application scenarios of The Graph, improve user awareness, and enhance user stickiness.
